This easy recipe will make you awesome potato pies.
Cooking time 1 hour 30 minutes
Flour (for dough) 350-400 g
Skim milk (for dough) 300 g
Vegetable oil (for dough) 2-3 tbsp. l.
Dry yeast (for dough) 10 g
Sugar (sand) (for dough) 1 tsp.
Salt (for dough) 1 tsp
Potatoes (for filling) 1/2 kg
Egg (for filling) 1 pc
Onion (for filling) 1 pc
Vegetable oil (for filling) 2-3 tbsp. l.
Salt to taste
In a bowl, combine warm milk and vegetable oil.
Add salt, sugar and flour.
Add dry yeast and mix well.
Let the dough rise for about an hour. Crumple well.
Peel the potatoes, cut into wedges and boil. Drain the water.
Add egg and knead well.
Fry finely chopped onions in a pan with vegetable oil.
Add to mashed potatoes, salt and stir. Cool the filling.
Divide the dough into pieces and knead in flour.
Lay out the filling and pinch.
Fry in vegetable oil until golden brown.
Cool the finished pies with potatoes and serve.
