Lemon cake

This recipe can be used to easily and easily prepare delicious lemon cake.

Cooking time 3 hours 25 minutes


Wheat flour of the highest grade 1 kg

Milk 2.5% fat. 1/2 l

Raw chicken eggs 5 pcs

Butter 300 g

Lemon 1 pc

Raisins 100 g

Dry fast-acting yeast 10 g

Sugar 200 g

Vegetable oil

Egg white (for glaze) 2 pcs

Sugar (for glaze) 100 g


Dissolve the yeast in half the milk. Add a couple of tablespoons of sugar and 100 g of flour. Stir and let the dough stand for 1 hour.

Beat the yolks with sugar.

Add lemon zest.

Add dough, melted butter, soaked raisins, salt to the yolks.

Beat the whites and add portions to the dough.

Slowly adding flour, knead the dough.

Let the dough rest for a couple of hours and put on 1/2 part greased molds. Bake in the oven at 180 degrees C for about 1 hour.

Put out of the mold, wrap in a towel and rest. Beat egg whites with sugar and pour over the cake.

Decorate with confetti.
