Green sorrel soup

Green soup with sorrel and cabbage in chicken broth, one of the most delicious and healthy soups in our collection of recipes.

Cooking time 50 minutes


Chicken part 1/4 pc

White cabbage 200 g

Onion 1 pc

Potatoes 2-3 pcs

Carrot 1 pc

Tomato paste 1 tbsp l.

Sorrel 1 bunch

Dill 1 bunch

Salt to taste


Put the chicken leg and the peeled onion in a saucepan.

Cover with cold water and cook for about 2 hours over low heat.

Peel and chop the potatoes and carrots.

Add vegetables, and remove meat and onions.

Add tomato paste.

Add shredded cabbage. And cook until vegetables are ready.

Chop sorrel and dill.

Add at the very end along with the meat separated from the bones. Salt and turn off the heat. Leave covered for 10 minutes.

Pour the prepared green soup into bowls and serve with sour cream.
