Lean Pea Soup

Lean pea soup, an easy-to-make recipe that tastes just as good as meat soups.

Cooking time 50 minutes

Ingredients

Dry peas 50 g

Potatoes 2 pcs

Carrot 1 pc

Onion 1 pc

Water 2 l

Vegetable oil 2 tbsp. l.

Dried garlic 1/4 tsp

Bay leaf 1-2 pcs

Salt to taste

Pepper to taste

Preparation

Soak peas in cold water for 3-4 hours. Rinse with water and cook over low heat for 20-30 minutes.

Peel and dice the potatoes. Add to the pan.

Chop the carrots, finely chop the onion. Put in a frying pan with vegetable oil.

Fry for 2-3 minutes.

Add frying to the pan and cook for another 3-5 minutes. Season with salt, add bay leaf and garlic, mix well. Remove the bay leaf after 5 minutes.

Pour into plates and serve.
