Ear with pearl barley

Ukha with pearl barley is a fish soup prepared in the best traditions of Russian cuisine. Just 30 minutes of your time and a delicious lunch is ready. 3-4 servings.

Cooking time 30 minutes


Water 2, 3-3 l

Pike (medium) 1 piece

Potatoes 3-4 pcs

Onion 1 pc

Salt 1/2 tsp

Dill (greens) to taste

Allspice peas to taste


Pour in 300 ml of water and put on medium heat, cook for 12-15 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Gut the pike, clean and rinse well.

Cut the pike into pieces.

Pour 2 liters of water into a saucepan and add diced potatoes and finely chopped onion. Cook for 10 minutes.

Throw the finished barley on a sieve and rinse.

Add the barley to the saucepan.

Add fish pieces.

Add 1/2 teaspoon salt and sweet peas to taste.

Cook the fish soup over medium heat for 15 minutes.

At the end of cooking, sprinkle with finely chopped dill.

Ukha with barley is ready. Pour into plates and serve.
