Tartlets with liver mousse and tomatoes

Tartlets with liver mousse and tomatoes are a delicious appetizer that can be prepared for any holiday.

Cooking time 40 minutes


Chicken liver 300 g

Cream 20% fat. 100 ml

Carrots 100 g

Bulb onions 2 pcs

Vegetable oil for frying

Hard-boiled chicken eggs 2 pcs

8-10 tartlets

Tomatoes 2 pcs

Lettuce leaves (for decoration) 1 bunch

Parsley (greens) twigs.

Salt to taste

Pepper to taste


Finely chop the onion. Grate the carrots on a fine grater.

Fry the carrots in vegetable oil. Then add the onion, fry a little.

Add finely chopped liver.

Fry, with stirring, for 15-20 minutes, season with salt and pepper to taste.

Place the cream and eggs in a blender bowl.

Then add the cooled liver and mix everything well with a blender.

Put the liver mousse into the tartlets (using a cooking syringe or spoon). Decorate with tomatoes and parsley. Place on lettuce leaves and serve.
