Lightly salted mackerel at home

Mackerel 3 pcs

Water 1/2 l

Salt 6 tbsp. l.

Sugar 3 tbsp. l.

Black peppercorns 5 pcs

Bay leaf 3-4 pcs

Cloves 3-5 pcs

1/2 teaspoon coriander


Take 3 mackerels.

Wash the mackerel, remove the heads, gut.

In a bowl, combine salt, sugar and spices.

Pour half of the spice and salt mixture into the bottom of a deep bowl.

Place fish backs down.

Add the other half of the spice and salt mixture.

Pour with cooled boiled water, so that only hides the fish.

Cover with a lid and refrigerate for 2 days.

Cut the finished fish into pieces and put on a dish with onions and herbs, season with vegetable oil to taste.
