Tomato appetizer

In season of ripe tomatoes, be sure to try this delicious snack. The tomato appetizer goes especially well with hot summer kebabs.

Cooking time 30 minutes


Tomatoes 4-5 pcs

Onion 1-2 pcs

Carrot 1 pc

Parsley (greens) 1 bunch

Vegetable oil 2-3 tbsp. l.

Vinegar 9% 2 tbsp. l.

Sugar 1/4 tsp

Salt 1/4 tsp

Hot red peppers to taste


Rinse the tomatoes and herbs well. Rinse and peel onions and carrots.

Cut the tomatoes into large slices into a bowl.

Add chopped onion in half rings.

Add finely chopped parsley.

Add grated carrots.

In a bowl, combine salt, sugar and red pepper.

Add vegetable oil and vinegar. Mix the dressing well.

Season the tomatoes with the dressing and let stand in the refrigerator for 20-30 minutes.

Our tomato appetizer is ready. Put on a platter and serve.
