Pumpkin garnish

Pumpkin 400-500 g

Water 120 ml

Butter 30 g

Vegetable oil 30 ml

Zira 1/2 tsp

Salt 1/4 tsp

Parsley (greens)


1/2 part of pumpkin weighing 400-500 g cut into pieces.

Peel the pumpkin pieces from seeds and peel.

Cut into large cubes.

In a saucepan, heat 30 g of butter and add 1/2 teaspoon of cumin seeds.

Add 30 ml of vegetable oil and fry the cumin in oil for 1-2 minutes.

Add pumpkin pieces and 120 ml. water, simmer over medium heat for 20-25 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Add 1/4 teaspoon of salt and stir.

The pumpkin garnish is ready. Place the garnish on a platter, sprinkle with chopped parsley and serve.
