Pea porridge with onions, a dish for real men. Delicious, satisfying, energizing and invigorating in any situation.

Water 1-1, 2 l
Peas 300 g
Onion 1 pc
Vegetable oil 2-3 tbsp. l.
Salt 1 tsp
Rinse 300 grams of split peas well.
Transfer to a saucepan and cover with cold water for 30 minutes. Rinse again.
Pour the peas with water so that the water is 2-3 cm higher than the peas. Boil the peas over medium heat, skimming off the foam, for 20-25 minutes until soft.
Add 1 level teaspoon of salt to the finished peas and mix.
Heat 2-3 tablespoons of sunflower oil in a frying pan and fry the finely chopped onion for 2-3 minutes.
Arrange the prepared pea porridge in deep bowls.
Add fried onions to the porridge on top, garnish as desired.
Pea porridge with onions is ready. Can be served at the table.
