Korean style pilaf with chicken, raisins and carrots

We will not insist on the name and talk about the correctness of the selected ingredients. Just try to cook our version and maybe it will become a traditional dish on your table. Pilaf with chicken and raisins is a fairy tale seasoned with carrots in Korean.

Cooking time 50 minutes


Chicken 5-6 pcs

Long grain rice 200 g

Onion 1 pc

Raisins white 100 g

Korean carrots 200 g

Vegetable oil 2 tbsp. l.

Salt 1 tsp

Parsley (greens) (for decoration) to taste

Seasonings for pilaf to taste


Wash and dry the chicken pieces.

Fry in a deep frying pan in vegetable oil.

Finely chop the onion.

Add the onion to the chicken.

Add rice and continue to fry.

Rinse the raisins and sort out the tails.

Add raisins, pilaf spices and salt to the pan.

Pour water up to the top of the chicken and simmer over low heat, covered for 15 minutes.

Add Korean-style carrots and stir. Simmer for another 5-7 minutes under the lid.

Place on a plate and sprinkle with finely chopped parsley.

Delicious Korean style pilaf with chicken, raisins and carrots is ready. Can be served at the table.
