Lean pilaf with pumpkin and beans

Add delicious variety to your menu, make lean pilaf with pumpkin and beans. A very hearty and delicious dinner, which is also suitable for fasting days.

Cooking time 30 minutes


Canned beans 200 g

Pumpkin 200 g

Rice 100 g

Onion 1 pc

Green onions to taste

Vegetable oil 2 tbsp. l.

Salt to taste


Drain the liquid from the canned beans.

Cut the pumpkin into cubes.

Fry finely chopped onion and pumpkin in a pan with vegetable oil.

Boil rice until half cooked.

Add rice to the pan and fry for 2-3 minutes.

Add beans, salt and stir.

Add a quarter glass of water and simmer covered for 5-7 minutes over low heat.

Our lean pilaf is ready.

Put the finished pilaf on a dish and sprinkle with finely chopped green onions. Serve to the table.
