Chicken on salt in the oven

Oven baked chicken on salt. Aromatic, juicy and salty with a baked crust. Insanely delicious and easy to prepare chicken dish for the festive table.

Chicken 1 pc

Lemon 1/2 pc

Salt (regular not iodized) 400 g

Vegetable oil 2 tbsp. l.

Garlic clove 2-3 pcs


Rinse the chicken carcass and dry well with paper towels outside and inside.

In a bowl, combine vegetable oil, lemon juice and pressed garlic.

Cover the form with parchment and put salt in an even layer.

Coat the chicken with a mixture of vegetable oil and lemon and put on salt, breast side down.

Bake in the oven at 180 degrees C for 1 hour.

Transfer the chicken to a dish and decorate with herbs and vegetables.

Salted chicken in the oven is ready. Can be served with a festive table.
