Mashed potatoes with onions

A simple recipe for making delicious mashed potatoes with onions.

Cooking time 30 minutes


Potatoes 1 kg

Onion 1 pc

Vegetable oil 3 tbsp. l.

Green onion (feather) 2 pcs

Salt to taste


Peel and rinse the potatoes.

Cut into pieces and fold into a saucepan. Pour cold water, salt and cook.

Drain the potatoes and knead well with a crush.

In a frying pan with vegetable oil, fry the finely chopped onion until transparent.

Add the onion and butter to the saucepan and mashed the potatoes well again.

Place in a bowl and sprinkle with finely chopped green onions.

Mashed potatoes with onions are ready. Serve as a side dish.
