Classic herring under a fur coat

Herring under a fur coat is a classic that is always relevant on any festive table.

Ingredients

Lightly salted herring in pieces 200 g

Potatoes 3-4 pcs

Carrots 2 pcs

Beet 1 pc

Eggs 4 pcs

Mayonnaise 5-6 tbsp l.

Salt

Preparation

Boil 1 beet and 2 carrots, cool and peel.

Boil 3-4 potatoes, cool and peel.

Completely bone 200 g of herring fillets.

Place the serving ring on the platter and place the chopped herring in cubes.

Grate the potatoes and lay them on top of the herring.

Brush with 2 tablespoons of mayonnaise.

Add grated carrots and lay out in the next layer, salt a little.

Brush with 2 tablespoons of mayonnaise.

Add a layer of grated beets. Brush with 2 tablespoons of mayonnaise.

Boil, cool and peel 4 eggs.

Lay out a layer of grated boiled egg whites. Brush with 1-2 tablespoons of mayonnaise.

Add a layer of grated egg yolks. Put the salad in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.

Remove serving ring, decorate salad as desired.
