Charcoal mackerel for picnic

An easy-to-prepare, mouth-watering charcoal grilled fish is a great alternative to traditional meat dishes at a picnic.

Mackerel 2 pcs

Paprika 1 tsp

Vegetables (for serving)

Greens (for serving)

Salt to taste


Rinse the fish well. Remove entrails and gills, rinse and dry again.

Rub inside and out with salt and paprika. Put the fish carcass on a skewer from the tail to the head closer to the ridge.

Heat up the coals. Fry the fish, turning, about 20 minutes until tender.

Grilled mackerel for a picnic is ready. Put on a dish. Serve with herbs and vegetables.
