Stewed cod in tomato sauce turns out to be very tender, juicy and tasty. This dish will take pride of place on any table.
Cooking time 45 minutes
Cod fillet 300 g
Canned tomato puree 1 pc
Green onion (feather) 8-10 pcs
Baby carrots 100 g
Dried basil 1 tsp
Garlic clove 2 pcs
Salt to taste
Pepper to taste
Fry finely chopped garlic and green onions in vegetable oil.
Add tomatoes to the pan.
Mash the tomatoes well in a pan and simmer for 2-3 minutes. Add basil.
Defrost the carrots.
Add carrots to the sauce. Add salt and pepper to taste. Cook for another 3-5 minutes.
Cut the fish into small pieces.
Add to sauce.
Cook over low heat, covered for another 15 minutes. Stewed cod in tomato sauce is ready. Place on a plate and garnish with parsley sprigs.
