Lentils with chicken

Cut the onion into half rings and fry in vegetable oil.

Add chicken fillet, cut into small pieces. Fry for 3-5 minutes.

Add diced bell pepper.

Add pre-washed lentils. Fry for 2-3 minutes.

Add 1, 5 cups of boiled water or meat broth, salt and pepper.

Simmer covered over low heat for another 15-20 minutes.

Place on a plate and garnish with a sprig of herbs.
