Dumplings with tender potatoes

A simple recipe for tender dumplings with potatoes, please your loved ones with a delicious lunch or dinner.

Cooking time 40 minutes


Water 1 stack.

Butter 50 g

Sunflower oil 3 tbsp. l.

Egg 1 pc

Wheat flour of the highest grade 600 g

Salt to taste

Potatoes 400 g

Onion 1 pc


In a bowl, mix an egg with water, add 2-3 tablespoons of sunflower oil, salt and 1/3 of flour. Knead the dough, adding flour as needed. Knead the dough well. Cover with a clean towel. Boil potatoes in salted water. Drain and cover. Let stand for 10 minutes. Fry finely chopped onions in sunflower oil until golden brown.

Mash the potatoes well with a crush and add the onion and butter, stir and cool.

Divide the dough into pieces, roll the sausages and cut into small pieces, roll them into circles with a rolling pin.

Put a teaspoon of filling on each circle, roll up and pinch.

Boil in salted water for 10 minutes. Catch with a slotted spoon, add butter, mix. Serve with sour cream.
