Food pyramid

Food Pyramid, this dish represents a healthy eating model. The base of the pyramid is rice, carrots and celery. The top includes animal product (liver). Adding and decorating the pyramid are herbs (basil, dill, tarragon, mint), ginger and orange.

Cooking time 30 minutes


Beef liver 400-500 g

Rice 1 stack.

Carrot 1 pc

Orange 1 piece

Ginger root pc

Rosemary sprigs.

Basil sprig.

Tarragon twigs.

Fresh mint twigs.

Dill (greens) twigs.

Salt to taste

Ground black pepper to taste


Rinse the liver and remove the films, sprinkle with rosemary leaves and black pepper and leave in the refrigerator overnight.

Before cooking, peel it of rosemary, cut into small pieces, roll in flour and fry on both sides for 7-10 minutes, sprinkle with salt and grated ginger. Boil 2 cups of water, pour washed rice into boiling water and cook over low heat. Shortly before cooking, add grated carrots and finely chopped celery to the rice, mix. When the water evaporates, salt the rice, add a little butter and stir.

Put a pile of rice on a wide dish, place a few pieces of liver on top, put herbs and slices of orange at the base of the "pyramid".

The food pyramid is ready.
